Maulana for book review event of her latest book  entitled “Brandmate” in Drama Room from 13.30-15.30.  The event was attended by lecturers and student of London School  Brandmate, one of branding solutions series, carried a theme of “Changing Just Friends into Soulmate”.  Ms.Amalia E.Maulana is a Brand Consultant & Ethnographer.  A series combination of experience in business and academia makes her able to create an abstract branding process becomes simpler through the analogy of friendship

TIKOM The London School of Public Relations Jakarta, the best graduate school of communication in Indonesia warmly welcomed SMA 53 & SMAN 67 last Thursday, 10 May 2012.  LSPR Rising Star showed-off their talent as the opening performance followed by welcoming speech by Mr. Allan D. Santiago, Dean of Mass Communication, Advertising and Performing Arts Communication in LSPR.

Mr.Kamal as General Manager & Head of Marketing delivered presentation about LSPR ranging from learning system, international examination, student’s clubs and activities and many more.  “Public Speaking & Presentation Skill” workshop was also part of the activities, brought by Ms. Renata Tirta continued with campus tour by Marketing team and Mr.& Ms.LSPR.

To continue the objective as an organization that cares about autism awareness, LSCAA conducted a training session to the staff in companies like restaurant, super market, children playground, airlines, etc. who’s possibly active being in touch with children with autism in their daily service.  Last Saturday, 5 May 2012, Millennium Hotel joined the session presented by Ms. Regina R. Rastrullo, M.Ed, OT from 10.00-12.00 about the introduction and knowledge about autism to provide service as a friendly company to children with autism.

Orientation Batch XVI

STIKOM The London School of Public Relations Jakarta, the best graduate school of communication in Indonesia conducted orientation for the future freshman students, batch XVI last Saturday, 5 May 2012 in Prof.Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall.  Several activities were held in order to introduce the life and study in London School for the next generation of LSPR’s student.  After the performance from LSPR Choir and opening remarks video by Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR Founder and Director of STIKOM LSPR, team started to introduce management and lecturers of London School, presentation of Academic procedure and IT as well as student guidance rules & regulations. Mr. Imanuel Hutagalung, Deputy Director III discussed about student’s lifestyle continued with Student League presentation by Laksmita, the chairman.  Aside from presentation, to create the feeling of unity and fair competition, team conducted a team building and short performance by the students.   After the fun yet educational activities, it was closed by the distribution of ID card and Alma mater jacket to several students as symbolization.  Welcome Batch XVI to LSPR’s big family!

Another Winning for LSPR in the 16th ALSA National English Competition 2012

London School is a proud alma mater by another winning in ALSA E-Comp (National English Competition); Nadia Maharani from LSPR TV won the 1st place for News Casting category and Kirty Parkash from English Club won 2nd place on Speech category.  The competition was held last 26 April-1 May 2012 by Law Faculty of University of Indonesia in Depok ALSA E-Comp 2012 had eight categories of competition; Debate, Speech, News Casting, Spelling Bee, Battle of Brains, Story Telling, Paper Presentation, and E-Comp Model United Nations (E-MUN).  Carrying the theme of “Increase the Curiosity, Gain the Ability” ALSA E-Comp was one of the events where the participants could gain their abilities, not only in terms of English linguistic but also in being brave, firm, broad-minded, and to put forward ideas to the general public.  Congratulations team for always shining brighter for LSPR!

LSPR TV did it once again! Recently Won at the Presenter & News Anchor National Competition “Protocol Fair”

STIKOM The London School of Public Relations Jakarta, once again proved itself to be the best graduate school of communication in Indonesia.  It was reflected by another glorious winning at the Presenter & News Anchor National Competition-Protocol Fair last Saturday, 28 April 2012 in University of Padjajaran, Bandung.  LSPR, through LSPR TV won both in the Presenter & News Anchor categories; Falentina Cotton (1st winner of presenter), Siti Nurjanah Mandachan (2nd winner of Presenter), M.Ahsan Rusjdi (Favorite Winner of Presenter) and Debora Pungus (3rd Winner of News Anchor). Falentina Cotton, also Cici Jakarta, toped everyone to be the overall champion and have the right to receive Piala Gubernur Jawa Barat.  As many as 90 participants joined the competition to be the best in one of the most prestigious presenter & news anchor competition for students in Indonesia.  Last year, STIKOM LSPR also brought the cup by winning the 1st place of both categories.  Congratulations, we are all very proud of you!

MOU Signing LSPR & PWI

Last Monday, 30 April 2012 STIKOM The London School of Public Relations Jakarta, the best graduate school of communication conducted a memorandum of understanding (MOU) ceremony with PWI (Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia) at Sahid Hotel from 12.00-14.00. Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR as Director and Founder represented LSPR in signing the memorandum while PWI was represented by Mr. H.Margiono, Chairman of PWI. This collaboration was established between PWI and Post-graduate program in LSPR to release license for journalist by following sessions of training and test before they can get their license.
