MISSION
IDEAL – an association of drama educators in Indonesia which advocate and advance the development of drama in education, therapy and performance. We adhere to the teachings of progress; foster IDEALls in the pursuit of higher excellence; provide its members a solid foundation of maturity and wisdom, a ground for the enhancement of effective communication, interaction, and cooperation. IDEAL commits itself to wage an action program to deal effectively with the development of the skills of Indonesian drama educators.

OBJECTIVES
To promote activities that shall evolve and revolve but not limited to cultural, education, community organization, advocacy work and alliances with other similar organizations within and outside Indonesia;

To advocate and nurture the profession by identifying the needs initiating dialogues and establishing connections with:
a. educators
b. artists and arts administrators
c. academia
d. educators professionals in related fields
e. organizations and educational institutions
f. students

To advance and nurture professional development through workshops and master classes, dialogs and forums between artists educators and institution.
